Normal clothes, a relaxed pose and a face I actually recognise. It looks understated in the nicest way. I didn't want something showy, and this little figure is perfect for my shelf.
Sent several photos because his expression mattered most to me. They caught it beautifully. He opened the gift, started laughing and then went round showing everyone. Such a lovely reaction. I'd happily spend the time choosing photos again for a result like this.
I expected to love the front, but the back of his jacket is neatly done too. It's lovely being able to turn it round without finding a bit that looks forgotten.

Went with the cartoon-ish one because a completely realistic mini me sounded slightly terrifying lol. Good choice. It's recognisably me but in a fun way, and my mates all want one now.

My sister has these orange trousers that the whole family teases her about. Naturally I chose a photo with those in it. The colour came out brilliantly and the face is recognisable too. She says it's the first present we've bought that shows proper respect for her fashion choices.
I checked all ten because they were going into separate gift bags and I didn't want anyone to get a dud. All looked tidy, with no chips or loose bits that I could see. People liked them and I felt happy giving them out. Nice little purchase.

Okay I was nervous about this because my partner is VERY particular about photos of herself. Sent a few from our trip, asked if they could keep the pose but change the outfits, and the little version of us is honestly adorable. She moved it straight onto the good shelf, which tells you everything.
