Ten matching little me figures for my birthday gang. Ridiculous idea, very funny result, would absolutely do it again.
All ten arrived looking lovely. I lined them up to check and ended up taking about fifteen photos before wrapping any.
Had a question after opening the parcel and got a clear, friendly reply. The face is beautifully painted and I've put it straight on display. Very happy with how the whole order went.
The pose isn't perfectly identical to our photo, but the expression between the two figures feels right. That's what I cared about.
The shirt, neck and face are all painted really neatly. I keep noticing little details I hadn't expected them to include. Feels like a lot of care went into this.
These weren't the main birthday present, just something extra for the family to take home. They ended up being talked about more than the main present. The tiny character is recognisable and the matching set idea worked really well. I'd happily do something similar for another family get together.
The ring stays closed in my bag and the figure looks lovely. Gave the other nine to the family and everyone was pleased. Such a cute little thing to carry around.
My grandmother's eyesight isn't what it was, so I wasn't sure how much she'd make of a small figure. She leaned in, saw the hat, and knew it was her straight away. Now it sits somewhere with better light and she points it out whenever anyone visits.
Friends get given loads of things when they marry, so I wondered whether this would end up in a cupboard. Went round for dinner last week and it was right there on the bookcase. They said the little figures make them laugh whenever they see them. Job done.
The white collar looks crisp against his outfit and the painting around the face is neat. Those little details make it feel properly finished. I'm thrilled with how it looks.
The person replying to me was friendly and tried to help, which I appreciated. The final figure still has the wrong jacket colour after we'd discussed it. The face and pose are lovely, so I don't hate it. I just wish the attention to that one detail had matched the nice conversation.
The person I spoke to was lovely and the finished figure looks fantastic. Even the little sleeves are neatly painted. Felt well looked after and I'm thrilled with what arrived.
I was fussier than everyone else about the keychains. There are small differences in the painted faces across the ten, and a couple look a bit rushed. The group were happy and immediately started using them. So the purpose was served, even if the finish wasn't quite what I'd imagined.
Chose the graduation outfit and her usual trainers underneath. She loves that it's a proper little version of her.
Our couple arrived safely and looked beautiful when we unwrapped it. The faces have so much of us in them. We ended up putting it in the middle of the table while we had dinner. A lovely little anniversary present to ourselves.
We got our boss in the bright suit he wore to the company dinner years ago. Nobody has let him forget it. He laughed when he saw the figure and immediately put it beside his monitor. The suit colour is spot on, unfortunately for him.
My friend always wears her sleeves pushed up, and I added a note about that with the photos. The figure came with the sleeves exactly like that. Sounds minor written down, but it's the kind of thing that makes this feel made for her rather than vaguely based on her.
Steady base and two very familiar faces. We keep turning it round to admire the little details.
He laughed, then went suspiciously quiet.
He moved into his first place and I wanted something more interesting than a kitchen utensil. Used a photo in his favourite jumper and trainers. The figure looks properly like him, and he has put it somewhere visitors can see it instead of hiding it in the spare room.
The outfit takes me straight back to that first job, and the face actually looks like the younger me in the photo. It's both funny and a bit sentimental seeing it there. I like it a lot more than another framed picture.
Just wanted something of us for our new flat. We're surrounded by boxes but the little couple already has a proper spot.
We nearly chose a silly pose and then went with a relaxed one. Glad we did; it still makes us smile daily.
My mum wanted her figure in walking gear, not office clothes. Fair enough after thirty years. The little jacket looks brilliant.
