Sent one picture from outside work and another close-up of my face. The design looked good, but holding the finished figure was something else. They've caught my expression brilliantly. It lives on my home desk now and makes me happy every day.
I couldn't quite imagine how my friend's big curly hair would work on a keychain. The proof looked good, but opening the box of ten was even better. They're adorable and definitely her. We shared them after her birthday dinner and she kept the last two for herself.
The whole joke was my friend's enormous red bow tie. They got that detail beautifully right. He spotted it immediately and burst out laughing. The face is a great likeness as well. This gift went down exactly as I'd hoped.

First version wasn't quite him, mostly the hair. I sent a fairly rambling explanation and a better photo and they somehow understood what I meant. Second version was bang on. I liked being able to say something before it was made because I would've worried about it the entire time otherwise.
