His faded hoodie looks like his hoodie
They kept the faded red rather than turning it bright scarlet. Such a small colour choice, but it makes the figure feel properly like him. Absolutely love that they got it right.

A quiet success
My uncle isn't one for fuss, so I chose a simple figure of him with his camera. He said it was nice and changed the subject. Next visit I found it displayed beside his favourite lens. That told me more than a big speech would have. Really pleased.

The shoes made my cousin laugh
Sent a separate photo of his favourite shoes and they got them just right. We also changed the shirt colour before approval. The finished figure looks great, and he immediately noticed both details when he opened it.

The feet look unfinished
From a distance the couples figure is alright, but the shoes and bottom edges are really untidy. There is paint crossing onto the base and a rough looking patch at the back. I expected something I could give as a polished gift, and this doesn't feel ready for that.

My brother and his camera, beautifully tiny
The camera is the detail that makes this feel so much like him. The design was easy to check, and the finished figure is lovely. He opened it and immediately started taking photos of it, which seemed very fitting. Brilliant little present.

Handled the change well

A nice ordinary version of us
There are more flattering photos of us than the one I chose, but this one feels real. The figures kept the everyday clothes and the slightly untidy hair. They're cheerful without being sugary. We have them next to a stack of cookbooks and I still look over when I'm making tea.

Our tiny dance disaster
The picture is from a dance lesson where neither of us knew what we were doing. Somehow that awkward pose looks really sweet as a figure. My wife laughed when she recognised it. It was meant as a little joke gift but has become one of our favourite things.
