Put one on my spare keys and saved the other nine for the family gathering. Same character, same lovely painting across the set. I'm looking forward to everyone opening theirs.
This is a figure of my grandma in the cardigan she used to wear all the time. I wasn't expecting it to make me emotional, but it did. It's stylised and little, yet there's something about the smile that feels familiar every time I look at it.
In the proof I was trying to judge every tiny detail on a screen. In person it all comes together much better. The pose, clothes and expression make it obviously my sister. She was delighted and already knew exactly where she wanted to put it. Happy with my choice.
