The little details made it — Toyota Tacoma

I placed the order after seeing that they could work from regular photos of my Toyota Tacoma. I gave it to the person who helped me work on the Toyota Tacoma, and the reaction was perfect. They got surprisingly close on the two-tone body, bed rack and small rear-window decal, even at this size. Overall, this turned out exactly the way I hoped it would.

More accurate than expected — Toyota Land Cruiser

The goal was simple: get a desk-size version of my Toyota Land Cruiser with the same look as the real thing. I noticed straight away that the dark blue wrap, black wheels and my small windshield banner had all been worked into the design. I took my time with the build instead of rushing through it. Assembly was straightforward, and nothing important was missing from the package. My only problem now is deciding which car to order next.

Looks like my actual Toyota GR86

I ordered this for my garage shelf and used my own Toyota GR86 as the reference. What impressed me was how they included the side decals and the exact color of the grille trim without making the model look overdone. I waited close to a month and a half; for a made-to-order model, that seemed fair. Seeing the same color combination in miniature is oddly satisfying.

Finally found my Toyota Supra as a set

I have wanted a buildable version of my Toyota Supra for ages, especially one that included my modifications. It is definitely a display build rather than something I would hand to a toddler. The tiny version of the blue brake calipers and the thin stripe along the side is what makes the whole build feel like my vehicle. It made a great display piece and an even better conversation starter.

Worth waiting for this Ford F-150

Honestly, I did not expect to find anyone making a set based on an actual customer-owned Ford F-150. My partner recognized the Ford F-150 before I pointed out what it was. The designer paid attention to the silver paint, bronze wheels and tow mirrors, rather than only matching the basic body color. Waiting about a month and a half was longer than I hoped. Still, this was a made-to-order design, so the extra time was understandable. The final result saved the experience for me and made the delay easier to forgive.

A personal version of my Ford Bronco

Quick review after finally building my Ford Bronco: this is much closer to the real car than I expected. The pieces were well protected in transit, which I appreciated. They picked up the stock paint color with my aftermarket wheels, which were the things I cared about most. It feels made for an owner rather than produced for everyone, and that is the appeal.

My Ford Explorer in miniature

I normally walk past model cars because they never match mine, but a custom Ford Explorer was a different story. I sent several reference pictures, and the final model reflects the pearl white paint, red mirror caps and custom plate really well. My dad spent several minutes comparing it with photos of the Ford Explorer. I am genuinely pleased with it and already have another vehicle in mind.

Great desk-size Ford Escape

My brother suggested this after I complained that every Ford Escape model online looked completely stock. It showed up just over six weeks after I ordered, and the timing was fine considering it was built specifically for me. My favorite part is the way they recreated the chrome delete, tinted lights and lowered stance. I changed one tiny piece position to match my car even more closely. The model captures the personality of the real car, which is all I wanted.

Custom model with real character — Ford Maverick

Not going to lie, ordering a model from a handful of phone photos felt like a bit of a gamble. My Ford Maverick proved me wrong. The preview looked promising, but the two-tone body, bed rack and small rear-window decal came across even better once it was built. It is easily one of the most personal car items I own.

A proper custom Ford Ranger

I wanted something small to remember my Ford Ranger by before I change its current setup again. The finished design includes the lift, chunky tires and black side steps, so it genuinely feels personal. Putting it together was a relaxing evening project, and the final result feels sturdy. I waited around three months and received an apology email about the delay. That was longer than expected, but a model designed from scratch is not a quick product to make. Worth doing for a special vehicle, as long as you go in knowing it is not a fast order.

Ford Focus RS build came out great

This is one of those purchases that sounded unnecessary until I saw my own Ford Focus RS taking shape on the table. I built it with my son over the weekend and we both had a great time comparing it with the real car outside. Even a friend who is not into cars understood why I liked it. They got surprisingly close on the white body, black trim and blue accent line, even at this size. It was opened as soon as it arrived and was finished the same night.

Chevrolet Silverado 1500 details done right

The order was for my partner, but I ended up enjoying the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 build just as much. It arrived safely packaged and ready to build. There were no mystery pieces or confusing gaps at the end. I noticed straight away that the off-road bumper, light bar and red tow hooks had all been worked into the design. I would happily recommend the custom option to anyone who cares about the small details.

The little details made it — Chevrolet Tahoe

I do not usually write reviews, but there are not many places that will recreate your personal Chevrolet Tahoe as a brick set. What impressed me was how they included the two-tone paint and the little sticker on the rear glass without making the model look overdone. Turnaround was about a month and a half, which is not instant but makes sense for this kind of product. Overall, this turned out exactly the way I hoped it would.

More accurate than expected — Chevrolet Suburban

Bought this after selling my Chevrolet Suburban. I wanted a reminder of the car without buying another full-size one. The tiny version of the orange wrap, dark wheels and front lip is what makes the whole build feel like my vehicle. I took my time with the build instead of rushing through it. Assembly was straightforward, and nothing important was missing from the package. The photos do not quite show how nice it looks once assembled.

Looks like my actual Chevrolet Equinox

I kept seeing generic sets and none had the right look, so I finally submitted my Chevrolet Equinox for a custom design. The instructions were easy to follow and the finished shape is immediately recognizable. The designer paid attention to the carbon-look roof and bright red accents, rather than only matching the basic body color. The month-and-a-half turnaround was the weak point for me. That said, it was created around my actual vehicle, so I can justify the delay. The long wait faded pretty quickly once the model was sitting next to the real car.

Finally found my Chevrolet Traverse as a set

The photos I sent were not professional at all, just normal phone pictures of my Chevrolet Traverse, so the result surprised me. It is definitely a display build rather than something I would hand to a toddler. They picked up the gray wrap and the matching dark emblems, which were the things I cared about most. This ended up being much more personal than an ordinary model kit.

Chevrolet Camaro came out spot on

I ordered the custom Chevrolet Camaro because I wanted a model that looked like the one sitting in my driveway, not a stock version. I sent several reference pictures, and the final model reflects the factory red paint with the black roof and badges really well. The package arrived safely and all the pieces were sorted well enough to get started right away. Very happy with the finished model and I would order another one for a future car.

A personal version of my Chevrolet Corvette C8

This was a birthday present to myself and I chose my Chevrolet Corvette C8 since it is the car I have put the most work into. A couple of pieces took a second look, but nothing frustrating. The order was delivered at around the two-month mark. It required patience, although the finished result justified it. My favorite part is the way they recreated the wheel design, roof color and number plate. The photos do not quite show how nice it looks once assembled.

My Ram 1500 in miniature

My Ram 1500 has a few personal touches that never show up on normal shelf models, so the custom option caught my attention. The preview looked promising, but the canopy, roof lights and the stripe on the tailgate came across even better once it was built. Seeing the same color combination in miniature is oddly satisfying. Exactly the sort of unusual car gift I had been looking for.

Great desk-size Ram 2500

I found MiniCubez while searching for a buildable Ram 2500 and decided to send in photos of my own car. It arrived safely packaged and ready to build. The printed guide made sense and I only had to backtrack once during the build. Two months is a long time to wait for a model, and that is my only complaint. Since every detail was customized from my photos, I can understand why it took longer. The finished design includes the off-road bumper, light bar and red tow hooks, so it genuinely feels personal. I would use the service again, although next time I would place the order much earlier.

Custom model with real character — GMC Sierra 1500

I was a little unsure how much detail could be captured in a brick-built GMC Sierra 1500, but I gave the custom order a try. They got surprisingly close on the silver paint, bronze wheels and tow mirrors, even at this size. My only problem now is deciding which car to order next.

A proper custom GMC Yukon

I bought this GMC Yukon model as a keepsake after finishing the latest changes on my real car. I noticed straight away that the silver body, yellow calipers and split-spoke wheels had all been worked into the design. Putting it together was a relaxing evening project, and the final result feels sturdy. The pieces were well protected in transit, which I appreciated. A very cool way to keep a version of the car indoors.

GMC Acadia build came out great

A friend sent me the MiniCubez page, and the idea of building a small version of my GMC Acadia was too good to pass up. What impressed me was how they included the matte gray finish with gloss black details without making the model look overdone. I built it with my son over the weekend and we both had a great time comparing it with the real car outside. My dad spent several minutes comparing it with photos of the GMC Acadia. From ordering to delivery it was roughly a month and a half, about what I expected for custom work. This ended up being much more personal than an ordinary model kit.

Jeep Wrangler details done right

There are plenty of generic Jeep Wrangler models around, but I wanted one based on my exact setup. It arrived safely packaged and ready to build. There were no mystery pieces or confusing gaps at the end. The tiny version of the burgundy body and polished wheel faces is what makes the whole build feel like my vehicle. The real car gets more attention, obviously, but the tiny one is not far behind.
